What is this about?
Do you have hurts and regrets? Do you feel like your past is controlling how you interact with people and situations around you? With deliverance and inner healing we can bring about a peace through talking and prayer; a new way of thinking and interacting with the world around you. This new peace brings with it a freedom and hope. These qualities allow you to interact with even the same job and people in a different way. Do you need to be a Christian? So while we are Christians, that does not mean this process requires you to be a Christian. That said, what we are doing is looking to bring people into an experience with God. That will not in any way require you to ask Jesus into your heart. We will ask if you want to, and be excited if you do but even if you don't, our heart is still to love you. So what do we mean by ‘Inner Healing’? When we say “Inner Healing,” we are talking about a process by which we help to identify issues that are going on in your life that are making things harder. What we are doing is attempting to lift burdens that are holding you down, find issues that are blocking your ability to find peace and helping you to find resolution. This is still a piece of the whole of life, as well as our walk with God and each other, and if that is not understood it is easy to lose anything gained by these sessions as they are meant to prepare us for the next step not to be an end to themselves. What does ‘Sin’ have to do with it? Since this is a Christian Ministry I feel it's important to address this question. First we need to talk a little bit about what sin is and what it isn't. For a long time sin has sort of been defined as the evil that will send us to hell. I want to suggest it is something different: Biblically, sin is talked about as being something that separates us. It can separate us from God and/or each other. It is something that divides us and leaves our view of ourselves and or others as less than. What can I expect of this? This question can be hard to imagine for someone who has not experienced it before. I say this because the experience is often profound, but it is also not a silver bullet that fixes everything. God is relational and longs for our maturity and this requires walking the journey of process. With deliverance and inner healing we jump into this process and often take huge steps very quickly. Yet while we have changed, the people and situations around us have not changed and often they can resist the change that has happened in us because they are at first uncomfortable with it. Our hope Our hope is that we can stand with you to see a positive, hope-filled change in your life. We are really looking to stand with you, regardless of the outcome of our time together, that at the very least we will have offered our friendship to you. |
